YOU ARE INVITED TO THE
Cross Border Privacy Rules Seminar
AT THE DIFC ACADEMY IN DUBAI AND ONLINE VIA MS TEAMS
We have the pleasure to invite you to the "Cross Border Privacy Rules Seminar" to promote awareness about recent privacy developments and the Global Cross-Border Privacy Rules Forum. The Forum seeks to expand the Global Cross Border Privacy Rules and Privacy Recognition for Processors systems for voluntary data privacy certifications that help companies demonstrate compliance with international best practices. The Forum was established by Canada, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and the United States.
The hybrid seminar is organized by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the UAEโGCC Privacy Working Group. It will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. UAE time, in person at the DIFC Academy and online via MS Teams.
Join us for an interesting seminar and panel discussion on the importance of ensuring mechanisms are in place to facilitate cross-border data flows in a global digital economy. Speakers will feature developers of the Forum, regulators from other jurisdictions, and accountability agents already engaged in the CBPR/PRP systems. They will share insights and answer questions on recent developments in privacy. Come and be part of this discussion!
